InterFleet® is an advanced, customizable real-time Internet-based GPS/AVL system. Its applications have primarily focused on public sector fleets. This has resulted in InterFleet® being a dominant provider of GPS/AVL focused solutions for state/provincial and local government. Features developed in our primary markets have been translated for and benefited enterprise and private sector operations.

Launched commercially in 1998, InterFleet® was the first Internet-based GPS/AVL application in North America to show a live map display of entire fleets. While other systems were reporting at intervals at 5 minutes or typically more, InterFleet was cost-effectively providing 6 to 10 reports per minute per vehicle. This rich detail has supplied the foundation for robust management reports on clients' operations.

The philosophy from its inception was to develop an open architecture that readily adapts to changing technology and a endless variety of business requirements. With this flexibility and adaptability in mind, InterFleet's system was designed around the following:

1. A customizable browser-based application (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater)
2. Middleware that adapts to all major wireless networks and select 3rd party hardware vendors
3. Sophisticated hardware (and firmware) that can be modified to address an endless variety of client specific business issues.
